Abstract
This reflective article is the result of the experience accumulated over many years, guiding the research workshops in the Sociology and Modern Languages programmes at the Universidad Popular del César. Its general objective is to elaborate a practical guide for the formulation of the title, the problem statement and the research question from a qualitative perspective. The methodology used in this text is based on the principles of the interpretative paradigm and the application of the hermeneutic method, in order to understand and interpret the various categories and tools for project formulation, as proposed by experts such as Rodríguez (2005), Méndez (2006), Hernández et al. (2007), Ortiz and Del Pilar (2007), Martínez (2009, 2010), Rodríguez (2012), Barrera (2020), Ordóñez (2022) and Martínez et al. (2024), among other authors who have contributed with their works to methodological reflection in this field.
