Abstract

Telemedicine, the use of telecommunication technology to provide remote healthcare services, has dramatically transformed the healthcare landscape. With its rapid expansion, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine has become an essential tool in delivering patient care, improving access to healthcare, and enhancing healthcare efficiency. However, the integration of telemedicine into healthcare systems has also led to significant changes in the role of medical nurses. This article explores the impact of telemedicine on medical nursing, examining how it has reshaped nurses' responsibilities, interactions with patients, and healthcare delivery. The paper also addresses the benefits and challenges that nurses face in adapting to telemedicine and offers insights into how the profession can evolve in response to this technological advancement.
