Abstract
Objectives: This study explores the pivotal role of leadership in nursing and health administration, focusing on how leadership styles influence patient-centered care, organizational efficiency, and staff retention. It aims to identify best practices and emerging trends in healthcare leadership to address contemporary challenges.
Methods: A mixed-methods approach was employed, incorporating qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals and quantitative analyses of patient outcomes and leadership metrics. The study also reviews existing literature on leadership theories, including transformational, servant, and authentic leadership styles.
Results: The findings highlight that transformational leadership significantly enhances patient satisfaction and staff morale, while servant leadership fosters a supportive and collaborative environment. Emerging trends in health administration demonstrate a shift toward evidence-based leadership practices and patient-centered care models.
Conclusion: This research underscores the importance of adaptive leadership frameworks to improve patient outcomes, reduce staff turnover, and enhance organizational performance. It recommends adopting integrative leadership strategies tailored to the evolving demands of modern healthcare.
