Abstract
Saudi Arabia is going through a healthcare sector revolution that seeks to enhance the standards of delivery of services to patients. Among such measures is implementing the prescriptive vending kiosks, which incorporate machine-based or robotics systems to dispense medication without pharmacists’ engagement. The present study aims to explore the feasibility, future directions, and prospects as the necessary solutions and prospects regarding the large-scale adoption and deployment of automated prescription kiosks within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's healthcare transformation plan laid out in Vision 2030. In this study, the participants, 100 citizens, and 15 healthcare professionals were interviewed, and 120 questionnaires were administered(Aljohani, 2018).. The implications are that patient satisfaction is increased by achieving shorter waiting times, accurate prescriptions, and gaining more control over their healthcare citizens through the use of these kiosks. However, problems like technical issues, fewer available and visible sample prospects outside, and the public’s relative dearth of health literacy were raised. Some of the following suggestions have been made to weigh the limitations so that automated kiosks can be integrated into Saudi healthcare efficiently
