Abstract

Radiology has revolutionized modern medicine by enabling the early detection and prevention of diseases through advanced imaging technologies. From traditional X-rays to cutting-edge modalities like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound, radiology plays an indispensable role in diagnosing diseases at their earliest stages, often before symptoms manifest. This capability not only facilitates timely intervention but also significantly improves patient outcomes by allowing for more precise treatment planning. This paper explores the contributions of radiology to disease prevention, highlighting its role in screening programs, the detection of asymptomatic conditions, and its integration with other technologies to enhance predictive medicine.
