Abstract

Mobile health (mHealth) applications have emerged as transformative tools in clinical and pharmacological practice, offering innovative solutions to enhance patient care, optimize medication management, and improve healthcare delivery in hospital settings. This systematic review examines the adoption and integration of mHealth applications by healthcare professionals, with a focus on facilitators, barriers, and outcomes in clinical, nursing and pharmacological contexts. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases, identifying peer-reviewed studies published between 2010 and 2023. Inclusion criteria emphasized research addressing healthcare providers' experiences with mHealth, particularly factors influencing its implementation and sustained use in hospitals.
