Abstract

Postoperative recovery is a complex, multi-phase process requiring coordinated efforts across several medical disciplines. This article examines how collaboration between nurses, doctors, pharmacists, physiotherapists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists enhances surgical recovery outcomes. Each profession brings specialized expertise that, when effectively integrated, leads to faster healing, reduced complications, and improved patient satisfaction. By highlighting the roles, interactions, and shared responsibilities of each team member, this paper advocates for a multidisciplinary model of perioperative care and explores strategies to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation in surgical settings.
