Medical laboratories have a variety of techniques and methodologies that medical technology professionals use to diagnose disease and offer specific information on an ailment or the treatment for that disorder. The medical technology professionals working within a laboratory framework are responsible for serious outcomes such as the isolation of cancer cells, detection of contaminants or impurities, ascertainment of illicit drugs, and quantification of biological substances (Tomo et al., 2020).
