Abstract

Comprehensive dental care under general anesthesia (GA) is essential for patients with severe dental anxiety, extensive treatment needs, pediatric patients, individuals with special healthcare needs, or those unable to tolerate conventional dental procedures. Successful delivery of dental treatment under GA requires meticulous collaboration between dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, radiologists, medical nurses, and operating theatre (OT) technicians. This article explores the multidisciplinary approach, preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, postoperative care, and innovations in dental care under GA.
