Abstract

This research aimed to compare tourism development in two regions of Boyacá, Colombia: the Western region and the province of Norte y Gutiérrez, as a source of income in a region that has suffered violence and is seeking alternative economic development strategies. A descriptive methodology with a qualitative approach was used, employing interviews with tourism leaders and operators.
