Abstract

Accurate patient diagnosis in modern healthcare relies on the efficient integration of multiple medical support departments. Lab Technicians, ECG Technicians, and Medical Nurses each provide essential data, observations, and clinical support that collectively shape a doctor’s final diagnosis. Lab Technicians ensure precise laboratory testing and reporting; ECG Technicians record and interpret crucial cardiac electrical activity; and Medical Nurses observe patient symptoms, monitor vital signs, and assist in clinical assessment. This paper explores how the coordinated efforts of these three departments enhance diagnostic accuracy, improve patient outcomes, reduce medical errors, and support timely clinical decision-making. It also highlights the challenges faced in interdepartmental collaboration and suggests strategies to strengthen teamwork within healthcare systems.
