Main Article Content
Abstract
Patient experience has become a cornerstone of modern healthcare quality, particularly within healthcare systems transitioning toward patient-centered care. Saudi Arabia continues to advance its healthcare sector under Vision 2030, which emphasizes improving patient satisfaction, safety, accessibility, and engagement.
This paper explores comprehensive strategies to enhance patient experience in Saudi hospitals by examining communication practices, organizational culture, workforce competencies, digital transformation, environmental design, safety protocols, patient and family engagement, and performance measurement. A combination of best practices, theoretical frameworks, and evidence-based interventions is discussed to highlight how hospitals can strengthen trust, outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
The paper concludes with practical recommendations for implementing integrated patient-centered strategies tailored to Saudi Arabia’s healthcare environment, with particular attention to cultural considerations, national policies, and accreditation requirements.
