Collaboration between Nurses and Radiologic Technologists and Its Impact on Patient Outcomes

Abstract
Interprofessional collaboration between nurses and radiologic technologists is essential for high-quality patient care in imaging departments. This study explores how teamwork, communication, shared responsibilities, and collaborative practices between nurses and radiologic technologists influence patient outcomes, including diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, workflow efficiency, and satisfaction. Barriers to collaboration and strategies for improvement are also discussed. Evidence from recent clinical studies shows that structured teamwork directly enhances patient care quality and safety.
