Abstract

Emergency dental care management requires rapid clinical response, accurate documentation, effective administrative coordination, and structured communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Dentist, Dental Assistant, Medical Administration, Medical Information, and Medical Secretory play interconnected roles in managing dental emergencies such as severe pain, trauma, infections, and post-operative complications. This multidisciplinary approach ensures timely triage, appropriate treatment, accurate patient data handling, efficient scheduling, and seamless follow-up care. By integrating clinical expertise with administrative and information management systems, emergency dental services can enhance patient safety, reduce delays, and improve operational efficiency. This article explores the collaborative responsibilities of these five departments in delivering coordinated and patient-centered emergency dental care.
