Measurements, Analysis and Improvement of Power Quality for a Radio Station Building in Beirut - Lebanon
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper examines the effects of harmonics in a radio station building in Beirut, Lebanon, by analyzing readings taken from various points of the power system using a power analyzer and comparing them to IEC/IEEE standard values. The study aims to propose filters and techniques to mitigate harmonics, which can cause equipment failures and damage. This solution will ultimately improve power quality by designing and testing a passive filter using Matlab-Simulink to correct the signal and ensure its purity as a pure sine wave.
